]]> Just a quick update to let everyone know of the progress we have made working on the John W. Grant Audio Archive.  In a little over a year, we have uploaded over 300 audio messages from the library of Rev. John W. Grant.    Not all of these are Rev. Grant speaking, as we have quite a diverse group of “Spirited Speakers.”  This group ranges from “Pentecostal Heavyweights” such as David Bernard, Nona Freeman, Lee Stoneking and T.F. Tenney to lesser known but equally blessed messages from Keith Mandley, Janet Trout, Joy Haney and LaJoyce Martin!

Who Says There Are No Women Preachers In Pentecost?!?  I challenge you to listen to Sister Janet Trout’s message on Infidelity and not be moved!

]]> The next batch of cassettes that I have to go through is from the library of Bishop Grant.  There are all kinds of different ministers included, but I’m only going to be uploading a select few as this site is primarily about Bishop John Grant.  However, certain ministers and messages / series have caught my eye and I wanted to highlight some of there here, especially some of the female preachers.  In the next few days there will be more messages from Nona Freeman, Janet Trout and even Darlene Grant!  There will also be a few messages from T.F. Tenney.  I’m beginning to learn that “Southern Preachers” are pretty good!  🙂

]]> All done with the archives from 1983, at least from the main storage bin that I had.  It was fun to listen to some old time voices that I had heard “of” but has never had to opportunity to meet.  Grandma Mandley from 1983 giving her testimony (from 10-16-1993 A Glimpse Of Eternity) on her 90th birthday was very inspiring!  It was also fun to hear about the “Traveling Basket” in 11-20-1983 God Is Big Enough.  The Traveling Basket was a gift basket full of goodies, snacks and treats and was mentioned by Bishop Grant in jest because he never has been the recipient of it!  Poor Bishop!  🙂

Enjoy and I hope these treasures bless you or someone you know!  And remember…  “People have more fun than anybody!”

]]> In starting the 1983 project, I realized a few things as I was working one this… In 1983, I’m pretty sure there weren’t even CDs yet, let alone the Internet or MP3 files! Amazing as time marches on, how these messages are still relevant today! I’m pretty sure you could preach many of these messages as your own and nobody would know, but everybody would be blessed!

Found some GOLD in the audio library of Bishop Grant.  Inside one of the cases of cassettes was a four cassette package from 1987.  The set was a seminar from Rev. David Bernard teaching on Holiness!  The audio is a bit muffled from some of the cassettes, but the material is Spiritual GOLD!  This was taught in 1987 and it’s amazing how God’s Word does not change one bit!
